Dr. Mohammad Al-Nadvi  |
Scholar of Islam

Muslim scholar in North America, amongst the few who have the authority to confer an Islamic legal ruling.

Dr. Nadvi has studied the Islamic sciences extensively at some of the world’s leading institutions of Islamic learning.

He completed his Masters and Ph.D. in Shariah, with a specialization in Fiqh from Umm al-Qura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

To complement Dr. Nadvi’s comprehensive education in the Islamic sciences, he earned a degree in political science from Bhopal University, Bhopal, India.

Imam Aarij Anwer |
Scholar Of Islam

Imam Aarij Anwer was born in Karachi, Pakistan and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 13.

He enrolled in the University of Waterloo's Computer Science program, where he met people who changed his life.

These folks introduced him to an academic study of Islam and the Qur'an unlike he'd ever experienced growing up.

This began the journey of seeking religious knowledge: attending lectures, learning how to read the Qur'an properly.

Dr. Hamid Slimi is an Imam, Resident Scholar and Founder of Sayeda Khadija Centre.

He has been serving as an Imam, Chaplain, Educator and Consultant in Canada since 1997 in different religious and educational institutions.

Dr. Hamid Slimi is our Imam and Founder of Sayeda Khadija Centre.

He is an Academic scholar, a professor, a spiritual leader, a teacher and a Community Developer.

Dr. Mustafa Khattab |

Imam of the Anatolia Islamic Centre, Mississauga Canada and Muslim Chaplain at Brock University.

Dr. Khattab, received his Ph.D., M.A., & B.A. in Islamic Studies in English with Honours from Al-Azhar University.

He is a member of the Canadian Council of Imams, a lecturer of Islamic Studies in English at Al-Azhar University, and a Fulbright interfaith scholar.

He has served as an Imam in the U.S.A. and Canada since 2007 and is a published author. His most celebrated work is The Clear Quran: A Thematic English Translation.
